Srinagar: The Ranji Trophy plate group-b match between Jammu and Kashmir and Hyderabad ended in draw as hosts scored 296 in 81 overs in its second Inning while losing only two wickets at the end the fourth day on Friday at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium at Uppal Hyderabad.
TL Suman scored 160 runs while as PA Reddy was playing on 106 runs before the match was called off. The hosts resumed from their overnight score of 23 runs for no loss. However, only after scoring 10 more runs, Hyderabad lost its first wicket, Ravi Teja in the 13 over who was clean bowled by Dayal.
However, the opener TL Suman and one down batsman PA Reddy both hit centuries to contribute 262 runs partnership for the second wicket.
Suman who scored 160 runs was caught on the bowling of right arm spinner Parveez Rasool in 81st over while as Reddy was not out on 106 runs.
Earlier, on the Day 1 Hyderabad had won the toss and decided to bat first. The hosts scored 311 runs in the first innings BP Sandeep scoring 102 runs and Reddy hit 78 runs. In reply, J&K with the help of 168 runs by ID Singh earned 54 runs lead before being bowled out. Adil Reshi also hit half century in the first innings.
