New Delhi: Thousand of people on Sunday protested in capital against rising levels of corruption in the country.
At least 5000 People form all age groups holding banners and shouting slogans, gathered at the Ramlila Ground, from where they walked to Jantar Mantar.
Former Indian Police Service officer Kiran Bedi, social activists Swami Agnivesh and Anna Hazare and lawyer Prashant Bhushan were among the key participants in the rally.
Pertinenelty, india’s image was also dishonored by allegations of corruption, construction delays and cost overruns during last October’s Commonwealth Games. (AIP)
