New Delhi: Alleging that government has failed to deliver justice in much hyped Arushi Talwar murder case, Over 500 people on Sunday held a candle-light march in capital demanding stern punishment to the guilty.
Demonstrators displayed placards and banners that read, “We Want justice”, “Deliver justice In Arushi case and many more. The Candle march began at 6.30 pm this evening and ended up at8.pm, with a peaceful meeting.
One of her friend while talking to Agence India Press alleged that, “CBI failed to investigate the matter properly”.Government had closed the case with giving punishment to the guilty, she said.
However,a relative of Arushi told Agence India press that “We are not accusing anybody ,what we want is justice only”.
Fourteen-year-old Aarushi was found murdered under mysterious circumstances in her parents’ Jalvayu Vihar apartment in Noida May 16, 2008. The family’s domestic help, Hemraj, was also found killed on the flat’s terrace a day later. (AIP)
