Advani raised Kashmir situation in Parliament

New Delhi: The Opposition Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) today raised the Kashmir situation in the Parliament and asked the central government about the steps it was taking to control the situation in the Valley.

Responding to the debate, CPI (M) representative, while making a written statement expressed anguish that no concrete steps were being taken to address the deep alienation in Kashmir.

The violence and unrest in Kashmir was raised by LK Advani in the Lok Sabha today. The BJP leader said the Prime Minister should explain what the government is doing to control the situation there.
