No area is under curfew, bills must be paid to enjoy connection: Officials
Srinagar: Valley’s largest telephone and mobile service provider BSNL Wednesday snapped connection to several mobile subscribers who couldn’t pay their bills on time.
This despite General Manager BSNL, Mahesh Shukla promise that service won’t be hampered to those “who can’t pay their bills in curfews and restrictions.”
Affectees, who mostly hail from old city where strict restriction and curfews entered 25th day on Wednesday criticized the move.
“I couldn’t pay on time. But is it my fault?” a subscriber called Agence India Press from his friend’s phone to express his anger.
