Jammu: Shri Ram Sena, State President, Rajiv Mahajan shown their resentments against the Call given for Jammu Bandh on Saturday by Shri Amar Nath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti on account of the false rumors about damages made by some anti social and anti national elements to some temples in Kashmir Valley.
Interacting with media, Rajiv Mahajan, President of Shri Ram Sena, said that there are some political parties and politicians who want to create some bad atmosphere especially during the peak season of Amarnath Yatra, for the sake of their personal gains.
He said it is well known to all that under the banner of Sangarsh Samiti Jammu remained totally closed, all business establishments, educational institutes and hawkers observed strike Jammu Bandh for two months together last time, and what was the result afterwards, it is well known to all so he does not want to repeat it.
Mahajan has appealed to all the sections of Political, Non-Political parties not to observe Jammu Bandh on 3rd July, 2010, as per the call given by Sangarsh Samiti, as it will effect much on the pilgrimages of Amarnath and all the pilgrims will face difficulties, as well as mental harassment while availing their Yatra in Kashmir to visit Holy Place of Lord Shiva called as Amarnath, on the peaks of Kashmir Valley, who have come from long away places to avail this pilgrimage.
President of Sena has appealed to all the citizens of Jammu Province not to avail Jammu Bandh as per the Call given by Sangarsh Samiti on 3rd July, Saturday as it will affect much on the pilgrims. Mahajan appealed all to maintain peace and brother-hood and render their full support to the pilgrims of Amarnath.
So, the people of Jammu should remain much vigilant this time having the experience of last struggle made by the people under the banner of Sangarsh Samiti. After the completion of Yatra, let anybody come forward on the open stage to get the things done in the interest of the people of Jammu and Kashmir State as well again the interest of the Yatries in particular.
